Description:
To promote clean energy adoption in remote communities, SAO Energy, in collaboration with the USAID, Power Africa and the Health Electrification and Telecommunication Alliance (HETA), expanded SAO Energy’s Equipment Financing Program — which will extend the longevity of users’ solar systems and enable access to essential appliances for households and primary healthcare centers.
Impact:
- Accuracy in diagnostics and other laboratory operations at the healthcare facilities
- Positive feedback from clinic patients on improved service delivery.
- Furnished households and small businesses with cooling fans, television sets, power for other key equipment.

- Televisions: 45 26” LED televisions
