Description:

Project Overview: The SHS DAREs Pilot Project serves as a launch pad for scaled solar home system deployment. The pilot was designed to validate product performance, collect structured user feedback, and assess real-world socio-economic impact before broader rollout.

Early outcomes show active usage hours.

  • Solar runtime: Up to 16 hours post full charge.
  • Charging time: Approximately 8 hours under optimal sunlight.
  • Pay-As-You-Go is enabled to improve affordability and payment flexibility.
  • 4 bulb ports with 5-meter cables for flexible home distribution.

And the feedback indicates improved evening productivity for SMEs and enhanced quality of life for households through access to reliable, clean energy.
