Description:
SAO Energy has completed the installation of 9.6kW solar-powered borehole systems across 8 Basic Healthcare Centres (BHCs) in Ekiti State, Nigeria. We installed eight 1hp (1100W/96V DC) pumps and 48 200W monocrystalline solar panels (solar-powered water pumps) that deliver a reliable and sustainable water supply to the healthcare facilities.
Each installation is designed to eliminate water-related disruptions in the clinic operations by providing clean water on demand, with no grid power or diesel generators. This intervention directly improves hygiene, patient care, and service delivery for the centres, the healthcare workers, and the rural communities they serve.
Products Used for this Project:

Pumps: 8 units of 1hp (1100W/96V DC) submersible pumps.
